They will also provide essential training in trauma and counseling for staff and families, working towards healing and rebuilding with a foundation in Jesus Christ. Support their mission by contributing to GoFundMe pages set up by employees JeAnnah Dawod AbouAssaly and Elisabeth Siebert. Your help directly impacts the lives of those in need, bringing hope and healing to Sucua, Ecuador.
The Oxford Center Published!
The Oxford Center (TOC) is excited to announce the recent publication of two manuscripts in the Cureus Journal of Medical Science examining the effects of applied behavior analysis (ABA) on general cumulative target behaviors with autistic individuals. The two papers measured 90+ autistic individuals who received ABA therapy at TOC over four months, from March 2023 through July 2023. The studies looked at progress in developmental delays with skill acquisition, tracking success in acquiring new skills. Our research found statistically significant improvements in speech, nonverbal communication, social skills, and day-to-day living tasks. We also discovered significant reductions in problematic behaviors, like temper tantrums, aggression, and self-injurious behaviors.
Paper #1 – “Examining the Effects of Discrete Trials, Mass Trials, and Naturalistic Environment Training on Autistic Individuals Using Repeated Measures” (3-Month Snapshot)
Paper #2 – “Impact of Applied Behavior Analysis on Autistic Children Target Behaviors: A Replication Using Repeated Measures” (1-Month Snapshot)

Camp ABA
For many children with autism, summertime is a disruption to a much-needed routine and a loss of learning. That’s why The Oxford Center has designed Camp ABA, a summer ABA program directed towards school-age children to help them continue learning and expand their social and emotional growth while school is out!
Every week, Camp ABA will have a different theme with fun activities for kids to take part in! Keep an eye on our social media to see what other cool activities we have planned!
